Ammi Flowers


As, we all enjoy flowers that come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, colors and fragrances it would be worthwhile to take a look at some of the most popular flowers in the world. In this section, we take a look at the different aspects of Ammi flowers.

Ammi Flowers are shaped like dill. These flowers are annuals and have the life of just one year. They have a head shaped like an umbrella, which consists of several small flowers. The color of these flowers is mostly white. The stems of the Ammi flower plants are smooth and slender. The leaves are not so much feathery as they are ferny.  Ammi flowers do not have much smell. These flowers generally grow in the peak summer.

Geographical Distribution

These flowers are originally from North Africa, Turkey, Southern Europe and Egypt. They are widely available today in Western Asia and the Mediterranean region.

There is not much known about the meaning of the Ammi flower, except that Ammi majoris is literally translated to mean “fantasy”.
